Dovedale National Park
Dovedale is a walker’s paradise, owned by the National Trust and is an area little more than 3 miles distance, situated between Thorpe and Milldale in Derbyshire – only 5 minutes from Callow Hall Hotel.Dovedale`s stepping stones appear on thousands of post cards and the area attracts a million visitors a year.
Dovedale has been named a National Nature Reserve by the new countryside agency Natural England, this is in recognition of Dovedale's diverse flower-rich grassland, ash woodlands and distinctive rock formation.
