The menu changes daily using the freshest ingredients brought in the early hours from Birmingham market. Our Head Chef, Anthony, provides a menu that features fresh meat, fish and game in season, sauces lovingly prepared and reduced for days, delicious desserts - all complemented by an interesting and well thumbed wine list!
We specialise in fish and seafood and Anthony’s home-smoked salmon has been heralded as being 'amongst the best in the country'!
The beef is personally selected from certified producers ensuring that it is of good formation from a mature animal and is suitably marbled. It is then brought to the restaurant and hung for a good period to ensure its tenderness. We also frequently serve Welsh lamb which we find has sweetness unparalleled by others.
Desserts are indulgent and varied or and our cheese board has a great selection of English and Continental varieties.
Some of the fruit and vegetables come from our very own Victorian walled kitchen garden which is going through a steady but sure period of regeneration!
