The Perfect Christmas at Callow Hall
Three Night Package
 Nestled deep within the Derbyshire Countryside in the heart of the Peak District, Callow Hall is a truly magical location to spend your perfect Christmas, a home away from home location.
The hall is steeped with Victorian history and will be decorated in a truly traditional manner, with hand crafted decorations to complement the halls outstanding character and charm.
Roaring log fires, delicious home cooked food and a spectacular wine menu are all waiting to be enjoyed.
Christmas Eve
Arrive from 2.00pm onwards to a Full Traditional High Tea that is sure to provide the warmest of welcomes, relax in our cosy lounge areas and listen to Yule tide entertainment from our Carol Singers and Bell Ringers to arouse your festive sprit.
Our 4 course gourmet Christmas Eve dinner will be served to you in our Carsington and Bentley Suites from 7.00pm, a Champagne & canapés reception, accompanied by our resident pianist, will entertain you and welcome you from 6.30pm.
Later into the evening, Midnight Mass is available at our local church St Marys at Mappleton, only a short journey away from the hall. Hot Chocolate, Marshmallows and Home Baked cookies, will be provided to warm you on your return from the crisp Derbyshire evening air.
Christmas Day
Wake to the spectacular views of the Peak District on Christmas Day morning and breath in the fresh Derbyshire Countryside air. Enjoy the individual gifts that St Nicholas has delivered outside of your bedroom door.....
Arrive for a leisurely champagne breakfast served from 8.00—10am in our restaurant, Smoked Callow Hall Salmon, Callow Hall Sausages and Fresh Callow Hall Eggs are amongst the delights on offer to tempt you.
Why not then take a morning stroll, after your hearty breakfast, along the nearby Tissington Trail or even into Mappleton to prepare yourself for the Christmas Day Feast that lies ahead…..
Christmas Day Luncheon will be served in our Carrsington & Bentley Suites and our Middle Hall from midday onwards, a glass of champagne will be poured for you in our lounge as a pre-lunch tipple, to launch the celebrations.
From 2.00pm, the Queens speech can be viewed in our bar area.
After the feast is over... relaxation is the only way to spend the afternoon, settle down by the fire and enjoy the unspoilt, tranquil ambience that surrounds you, enjoy your time with family on this special day.
From 7.00pm, our kitchen brigade will provide a light buffet dinner with wine, served from our Middle Hall – the perfect finale to the perfect Christmas Day at Callow Hall.
Boxing Day
Boxing Day will commence with hearty full English Breakfast served between 8.00-10.00am in our restaurants. Home baked pastries, locally sourced yoghurts from our nearby dairy and freshly squeezed orange juice are all on the menu ready for you to enjoy.
The quaint market town of Ashbourne is only a 15 minute walk from Callow Hall, through the delightful “Ashbourne Tunnel”. Stretch your legs after breakfast and take a copy of our walking quiz to pass away a pleasant morning, enjoying the heritage that our local market town has to offer.
The Carsington and Bentley Suites will be open for Boxing Day luncheon from 12noon (please note this is not included in your package).
Boxing Day Evening will be a pure night of celebration at our Boxing Day Gala Dinner. Enjoy a cocktail & canapés reception in our lounge and bar area from 7.30pm, entertainment will be provided by our resident Jazz Duo. Dinner will commence at 8.00pm and a fantastic 6 course tasting menu awaits for you, to tantalise all taste buds. Music and dancing will continue late into the evening – a true celebration of Christmas time.
Goodbye and Farewell
After a hearty breakfast, it is time to bid you a fond farewell. A small gift is provided on your check out, as a momento of your wonderful Christmas in Derbyshire…until next year, we would love to see you again.

This special break is available from 24 December 2010 to 27 December 2010. Subject to availability.
Terms and Conditions
The rates quoted are per room for our three night Christmas break and are based on two people sharing a room. The rates are inclusive of accommodation, meals and drinks as detailed in our Christmas programme and Value Added Tax. Single rates are available on request.
A £50.00 per person deposit is required to confirm your reservation.
Full payment in advance for the Christmas Package must be received prior to 1st December 2010; otherwise the amount will be taken from the card details given at the time of booking.
